Adidas Originals Introduces 2014 ZX Flux

adidas originals

The Adidas Originals ZX8000, that was released in 1989, steps into the future and comes in a total new avatar. ZX8000 was a shoe pair that was on the top list of dedicated athletes and street-level casuals the world over. Part of Adidas Originals’ pioneering ZX Family, it was one of the first Adidas runners to integrate SoftCell heel technology, a Torsion split sole, and a heel cage into one complete model. After tasting success and receiving acclamation, Adidas Originals revives a vault classic in the form of the ZX Flux for 2014. It is a calculated step to update and adapt the standard ZX8000 for the youth of  modern times. Adidas Originals 2014 ZX Flux strips away all the external bells and whistles of the past model, leaving an understated, smooth casual shoe for the next generation. Continuing its legacy with the next-generation of ZX, the ZX 8000’s formula takes a brand new direction and a brand new look , stripping the external excess to the strictly essential.

adidas originalsSam Handy, Design Director and Torben Schumacher, Business Unit Director are the minds behind the newest creation. The sole of the new model is harder than ever before, enabling independent movement of the forefront and heel. The new Adidas Originals 2014 ZX Flux are functional and performance driven. The shoe appears to be a fitted synthetic one piece upper and a heel cradle for foot stabilization. Blank canvas is waiting for the mark of the pioneers putting it on. Its been a long and a bold journey for the Adidas Originals’ pioneering ZX Family and now its ready to go harder than ever. You can check the showcase of the impressive collection at the gallery at Munzstrasse 21, Mitte, that will be open to the public on Friday, 17th and Saturday, 18th January from 11am-8pm. Enjoy the preview view above, then be sure to look for the ZX Flux at Adidas Originals retailers in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates.
