Asus Zenfone 3 Review: Performance And Beauty

Design And Display
A lot of work has been done by Asus in creating the looks and the details of the Zenfone 3. The end result is premium looking and feeling smartphone which is of top notch quality. The back is made of glass and the front also got a 5.5 inch full HD display which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

zenfone-3-backWhile reviewing the phone, I dropped the Zenfone 3 a couple of times. The impact was on the display. My heart sank when it dropped but then I looked at the screen and there was not even a scratch over there. This is a great news for the people who have this habit of dropping their phone very now and then.

zenfone-3-displayFor the regular users, you can multitask as much as you want and the phone will not disappoint you. There is ample amount of RAM available. On the other hand, the gamers would also love this smartphone as it gives them ample amount of options to play the game of their liking. Thus, you are not restricted to light games as games like Modern Combat 5, WWE 2K were easily playable on this smartphone.

A 16 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera is what the Zenfone 3 has to offer to us. Check out the images below by clicking on them and enlarging them.

The camera quality is good and the details are crisp. The colours appear natural and vibrant and the good part is that the phone automatically detects the low light conditions and prompts user to switch to the low light mode which is a good thing.

Battery Life
A 3000 mAh battery might look less on papers. However, the fact is that the Zenfone 3 offered me atleast 1 day of battery backup. The software is matched perfectly to complement the hardware and the end result is that the phone offers a solid battery backup.

Everything looks and feel good about the Zenfone 3 smartphone. The right built, the right performance, the right camera and the right battery. However, I am not too happy with the pricing of the device. It could have been slightly lower and the phone would have been the perfect value for money device in the segment.
