Design and Display
To be honest, at a price point of Rs 6,499/- you rarely see unibody metallic smartphone design. The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus phone offers exactly that. With a aesthetic looking and sturdy built, this phone gets a thumbs up from me in terms of build quality. The phone is compact enough to be held in a single hand and use. There is a dewdrop notch at the top and a fingerprint scanner at the back. The dual tone colour would appeal to the youngsters.

The phone comes with a 5.71 HD+ display. The colours are not the best but do not look pale either. The touch is good. Coolpad has done a good job by putting in a big display in a compact body. This ensures that the phone has maximum screen and minimum bezels.

Performance
The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus has a 3 GB RAM and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. It comes with Android 9.0 Pie software version. There are a lot of pre- installed apps in the phone. Coolpad Cool 3 Plus metal bodyYou would do good by un-installing the ones you would not require. This would speed up your phone. If you are using the phone for regular usage, this is a good phone to go for. You can open various apps and go through your day. On the other hand, if you want to play heavy duty games like PubG, you might face lags. For light and medium games, this is a good phone.

Camera
A 13 MP camera at the back and a 8 MP camera at the front is what Coolpad Cool 3 Plus offers you. The back camera did not impress me much. However, the front facing camera is good and can click some cool selfies. Surprisingly, it tells your gender and age quite accurately! Check out the images below to get a better idea about the camera’s capabilities.

Battery Life
The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus has 3000 mAh battery which provides for a day of battery backup. If you want to charge your phone, it will take upto 2 hours to go from 0 to complete 100% charge. The phone has a micro USB port for charging.

Verdict
Go for the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus if you want a big display in a compact body. Go for it if you don’t want to spend much yet are looking for a sturdy and metallic phone. The front facing camera is good for the price. Overall, a value for money phone at a price of Rs 6,400/-
