With its Mega 2.5D, Coolpad knows what it is offering to the users. To get a device with 2.5D glass at a price point of Rs 6999, is a mouth watering proposition. The front camera is the best in the segment and the build quality is top notch. There is no fingerprint scanner in the phone but I guess that should not be an issue because this is a total value for money phone
Design And Display
The phone is sleek and really light. It weighs just 143 grams. The side perimeter is pure metal while the back of the phone is plastic. The Coolpad Mega 2.5D is a unibody smartphone. This means that the backplate of the phone cannot be removed.
The back of the phone houses the camera lens with flash. At the bottom there i s the speaker grill.
The right hand side has a hybrid SIM card slot. So either you can put in two SIM cards or a SIM card and a micro SD card.
Coming to the display now, the phone Coolpad Mega 2.5D comes with a 5.5 inch HD display. This is well protected by the 2.5D glass. This is a glass by Corning and is the latest in the industry.

For regular users: I did not face any sluggishness or slowdown while using this phone. I ran multiple apps together and the phone handled all of these nicely.
For gamers: Light to moderate games can easily be played on the Coolpad Mega 2.5D smartphone. Then come the heavy games. I tested Need For Speed, Real Steel WRB and Dead Trigger 2. I was happy with the gameplay. There were minute lags but nothing major that would put off the gamer inside you.
All in all guys, Coolpad has not compromised on the processor front and I found the MediaTek chipset quite efficient. Another thing worth mentioning is that the Mega 2.5D does not heats up while usage. These days several smartphones have heating issues and the is a problem faced by several of the users.
This is the USP of this phone. The front facing camera on the Coolpad Mega 2.5D smartphone comes with Sony sensor and has an aperture of f2.2. Further, the camera can click wide angle selfies. The rear camera is a 8 MP one.
Guys, as you can see from the images above, there is no phone in the Indian market which can beat the front camera of the Mega 2.5D smartphone at the price point of Rs 6999. I am also happy with the rear camera and it provides good amount of details while retaining the natural colours. The low light photography is also decent. There is no shutter lag in the Coolpad Mega 2.5D smartphone.
Under the hood, we have a 2500 mAh battery which powers up the phone. Since the display is HD and the chipset clocks at 1 Ghz, the 2500 mAh is good enough to keep the device up and running for a day.
