Value For Money

Sometime back I managed to shatter the screen of a tablet I purchased sometime back. It was painful to see all the money spent go waste in a matter of seconds. This time around I decided to go for a seconds product from GreenDust. Thus, I ordered a Dell Venue 7 tablet’s 16 GB variant.

The market price of the tablet is Rs 11,999 while I got it from GreenDust at Rs 5600 only. Another thing worth noting is that the devices bought from GreenDust come with a 6 month warranty, so I felt secured.

GreenDust’s Shipment And Packaging

greendust packagingThe device was delivered to me in 3 working days and in a proper condition. The packaging was robust which ensured that the Dell Venue 7 inside the box remained fit. The accessories inside the box were complete and were packed neatly.

Design And Display

The Dell Venue 7 tablet features a 7 inch HD display. The colours are decent although not the best. The design of the tablet has been kept simple and the small size makes it easy to hold in one hand.

The Dell Venue 7 is powered up by a dual core Intel Atom processor and 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage space is 16 GB. While the tablet is still running on the older Android 4.2.2 operating system, it is not a problem since the user interface is smooth and most of the latest apps are can be run easily on this version. The tablet does not heats up and is good for your work, light to medium gaming and watching videos ans movies.

When it comes to camera, tablets do suffer and same is the case with the Dell Venue 7. While the front facing VGA camera clicks poor selfies, the rear camera at 3 Mp is slightly better. It can click decent images provided that the lighting is optimum.

Battery Life

dell venue 7 backThere is  a 4100 mAh battery under the hood of the Dell Venue 7 tablet. Since the hardware and the display are not too demanding, I managed to get a full day’s use from the device. This can be termed as a good battery backup.

The Dell Venue 7 Tablet was launched last year and is still doing good in the market. However, I would advice you to go for GreenDust when purchasing this device as it is available for a price which justifies its specifications and abilities.
