Lenovo announced that it will transition to a pure stock Android on its upcoming smartphones. This will provide the users with an enhanced and a stable experience. The latest version would be the Android 7.1.1. It will make the user interface easier to use and provide a stable and secure smartphone experience.
The Android 7.1.1 OS will prevent excess bloat ware and give the users a clean interface. This will provide the customers with uninhibited control over their smartphones.
It boasts of features like multi-window, launch actions and improvement in the bundled notifications as well.
The Android 7.1.1 will also allow the users to access Google features like Google Assistant, etc. This, paired with Lenovo’s smartphones will enhance the user experience. Also, the common software platform will help Lenovo to dish out updates more efficiently.
The stock Android Operating Systems will be initiated with the Lenovo K8 Note.
The Lenovo K8 Note is rumored to have photography as its key highlight. A Geekbench listing claims that it will have a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor and also a 4GB RAM. It is rumored that the K8 Note could also feature a dual rear camera setup as well. The Lenovo K8 Note will be launched on 9th August on Amazon.
It is a good initiative by Lenovo to offer stock Android to its users. Seems like the company has picked this up from its own brand, Moto.
