Micromax has already become the number three player in the Indian mobile market. Now, the company has set its eyes firmly on the tablet segment and want to dethrone Samsung. It would be launching the Micromax Funbook Ultra HD P580 for the same and has listed the price on its website. This new tablet would cost you Rs 11,990.

The best part about the Micromax Funbook Ultra HD P580 is the HD screen. The display size is 7.8 inch and it makes use of IPS technology. On paper, these specs make this tablet’s display a really awesome one and with good viewing angles. The colour reproduction should also be bang on.

The chipset used is 1.2 Ghz quad core. It has been manufactured by the Taiwanese firm MediTek.
