To all those who have been eagerly waiting for Nexus 6, the wait is over! Motorola has decided to launch the Nexus 6 at GOSF 2014 (Google Online Shopping Festival) which starts tomorrow.
One thing you should note before purchasing the Nexus 6 at GOSF 2014 is that this is not like the earlier generations of the Nexus phones in terms of pricing. Motorola and Google have gone premium this time and the phone Rs 43,999 for the 32 GB variant and Rs 48,999 for the 64 Gb variant.
With great price come great specs and that is available for the Nexus 6 smartphone. It now features a 6 inch Quad HD AMOLED display which means you will get the sharpness and the beauty of on the lines of a premium Samsung Galaxy phone. But a 6 inch display means that the Nexus 6 is more of a phablet now.
To power this huge phablet, Motorola has put in a 3220 mAh battery. Needless to say, the operating system will be the latest Android Lollipop 5.0. I hope it is not the same version that has been rolled out to the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 devices.
4K video capture, 13 MP camera with optical image stabilisation and NFC are other noteworthy features.
Nexus 6 at GOSF 2014 is being offered in two base colour options – midnight blue and cloud white.
The GOSF 2014 will be hosted by Google in order to give the strong wave of online shopping a strong push in India. A total of 450 companies are taking part in this mega shopping festival which will see never seen before deals in a time-span of 72 hours.
