This is that time of the year where most of the smartphone brands launch their flagship products. While some get it right, the others don’t. At the launch event of the OnePlus 3, I spent some time with the phone and my first impressions are that the OnePlus has got its flagship right.
For the starters, the phone houses a 5.5 inch full HD display. The colours are vivid and it is a neat display. Further, Gorilla Glass 4 protection has been added in order to provide the robustness to the phone.
The build of the phone is all metallic and still the weight is quite light. The phone is designed in such a manner that it is easy to hold in spite of having a 5.5 inch display.
As a user, you will get 4.4 GB of free RAM on the first boot and around 54 GB of storage space. Both of these are a lot and 6 GB is the new benchmark in the industry. The device is powered up by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The next thing that I tried was the camera. OnePlus 3 houses a 16 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front facing camera. There is no shutter lag and the images come out to be sharp and detailed. Do check out the images below. Click on them to enlarge.
As of now I like what OnePlus 3 has to offer. Good looks, build and a nice camera. I will be bringing you the complete review quite soon so stay tuned.
