OnePlus, in India, added a new smartphone into their lineup of flagship smartphones with the launch of OnePlus 5.
OnePlus 5 boasts of brilliant photography with highest resolution dual-camera on a smartphone. It also boasts of a massive 8 GB RAM and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. Connectivity is also taken care of with support of 34 GSM network bands.
If we talk about India, the OnePlus 5 is the thinnest OnePlus flagship ever at 7.25mm and is available in Midnight Black and Slate Gray colors. It features an aluminum body with a continuous hard line around the edge and also a horizontal line. For more comfort, the OnePlus 5 comes with rounded corners and edges.
It boasts of a 16MP sensor and a 20MP sensor with telephoto lens to provide clearer pictures. The image stabilization is also improved with f/1.7 aperture. The dual lens helps to make the subject clearer and blur out the backdrop. It also has a Pro Mode that provides various features like ISO, white balance and other DSLR like features.
OnePlus features a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charge technology that provides a full day of usage within half an hour.
This new smartphone uses 40 per cent less power while drawing more power through the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It also provides faster and lag free performance through the 8 GB RAM. It also has UFS 2.1 and two-lane ROM for faster storage performance.
The Oxygen OS also has new features like Reading Mode and Gaming Do Not Disturb.
The OnePlus 5 Midnight Black version (8 GB RAM/128 GB storage) and Slate Gray version (6 GB RAM/64 GB storage) will be available from Amazon on 22nd June 2017 at INR 37,999 and 32,999 respectively.
