Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Android KitKat 4.4 Update To Be Out Soon

A surprising new leak has pointed towards the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Android KitKat 4.4 Update. They are currently testing the update at their end. Tab 3 is not the best of the tablets but with the next generation operating system would improve in terms of performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Android KitKat 4.4 Update would bring a lot of new features in the tablet. The notification bar would now be translucent. Pull it down and you would have access to more number of short-cuts. Thus, increasing the ease of access.

The icons would be bigger and better. When we reviewed this tablet, we noticed that there was a bit of sluggishness which crept in every now and then. This increased further while multi-tasking, thus, killing the sole purpose if a tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Android KitKat 4.4 Update would resolve this issue.

The stock Android applications like Google Chrome, Play Music, YouTube etc would require much less RAM while running. This would keep the sluggishness at bay and would also save the battery. remember, applications running in the background eat up RAM and battery. The heavier the app, more is the demand for resources.

Users would now be able to make use of the complete 7 inch and 8 inch display of these tablets as the immersive mode has come to play. This would increase the user interaction with the device. The audio output would also see a rise.

Apart from the above features, there are several security and performance improvements in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Android KitKat 4.4 Update. You can update your tablets over the air whenever you get a notification.

The 7 inch Tab 3 has 1 GB RAM and the 8 inch has 1.5 GB of RAM. Thus, there would not be a marked difference in the user interface. The Touchwiz would also be similar. Both these tablets were launched last year and it is good to see Samsung  not turning a blind eye towards its customers.
