The Affordable Acer Liquid Z410 Launched

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Acer has introduced its new Android powered smartphone of the Liquid series, the affordable “Liquid Z410” with 4G LTE connectivity supported and a 64-bit processor. The device was unveiled at Pepcom’s Digital Experience! event on 5 January 2015, at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

The device is available for purchase in Europe, the Middle East and Africa starting the end of February, with a pocket-friendly price tag of EUR 129 (Rs. 9,757 approx.).

Acer Liquid Z410 packs a 4.5 inch qHD IPS LCD Capacitive Display supporting a resolution up to 540 x 960 pixels giving it a pixel density of 245 ppi. The Android powered smartphone will be powered by a Cat. 4G LTE 64-bit processor which will be a MediaTek M6572 SoC (System on a Chip) coupled with Mali-T760 GPU. The version of Android build on this device is unavailable as of now, but will sure be available soon.

On the back, the Acer Liquid Z410 houses a 5 MP camera and a front facing 2 MP camera that will offer 80-degree wide-angle lens. In addition to the camera the device include front facing speaker with DTS Studio Sound.

Some key features of the Acer Liquid Z410 include:

AcerRAPID Key that will allow users to get access to a rich set of user customizable action with just a touch. The key is placed right under the rear camera sensor and is encircled by a rough textile pattern.

AcerExtend which will enable users to have full control of their smartphones using their Windows-based Laptops, Desktops or tablets wirelessly or via compatible cables.

Acer QuickTouch which will allow users to quickly control their phone with simple pre-defined one-finger gestures such as – swiping across the screen making a ‘Z’ on the lock screen will launch the music player app and swiping left or right to go to previous or next song respectively. Making a ‘C’ will quickly open the camera app and a ‘V’ opens up the phone dialer.

Acer Quick Mode which is designed keeping in minds small kids getting their hands on a smartphone for the first time or for elders who prefer a bright screen with big icons and text.
