Woohoo App Review: Leave Cash/Card, It’s All About Phone Shopping!

User Interface

From the days of accepting only cash to swiping the cards and then giving out their own cards, shopping has kept evolving over time. Off late, it has become a bit exhausting for the users to keep all their customer cards with them whenever they go shopping. What if I tell you that there is a simple way to keep all your card data at one place – in your mobile phone!

Yes, Woohoo app does just that. One can add the following cards – GiftBig, Mobikwik, Payback, HiFives, Oxigen Wallet and GiftBig Rewards. These are basically the prominent cards which most of the shoppers use to make purchase or redeem points.

woohoo app interfaceThe Woohoo app has a simple user interface wherein after the installation, the user can add any of the above cards which he/she possess.

Then there is separate window which shoes the log of you spends and transactions.

The third window provides you the store categories. These are divided into six different categories. The first is the shop categorie which basically includes all the apparel and clothing shops where you can make the use of the Woohoo app. Some of the shops are – Allen Solly, Arrow, Flying Machine, Hidesign, Home Centre, Levis, Shoppers Stop, Westside. Then there are a few online portals as well like Myntra, Amazon and Yepme. Penty of options I would say.

The second category in the Woohoo app is the Dine category and includes the likes of Bierre Republic, Coco Jumbo, Gola Sizzlers, Spaghetti Kitchen, Zerzura etc. I must say that the options here are limited and the Woohoo app makers need to provide the users with more restaurants.

The entertainment category includes Keva Ayurveda, Roots Spa, Tatto Headquarters and more. Again, the options should be expanded.

Further, there are travel and few other online portal options present. The best part is that there is a 50 percent cashback scheme if you buy a ticket from PVR cinemas using the Woohoo app.

Overall, I kind of like the Woohoo app. Its download size is pretty small, 4.82 Mb. The user interface is swift and easy to use. There is a plethora of clothing store options available were I can pay using my mobile phone. This is a really cool concept and these are early days for the Woohoo app. I look forward to seeing more categories in the app.
