Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 4 in India, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor introduced for the first time in India.
The Redmi Note 4 boasts of a symmetrical metallic body with high-gloss aluminum lines. It features tapered edges with a 2.5D curved glass and comes in gold, dark grey and matte black colors.
This latest device from Xiaomi also uses 14 nm FinFET technology in its Snapdragon 625 chipset that enhances the battery life more than the 28nm processors. The 4100 mAh battery provides great thermal performance and lasts 25% longer than Redmi Note 3.
Redmi Note 4 features a 13MP CMOS rear and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and a Backside Illuminated sensor.
The smartphone comes in a 4GB RAM variant, which is the first time for a smartphone in the sub-15k market in India with a 64 GB storage that is expandable up to 128 GB externally. It is also compatible with LTE which allows HD 4G calls.
The Note 4 variants start at INR 9,999 [2 GB RAM + 32 GB], INR 10,999 [3 GB RAM + 32 GB] and INR 12,999 [4 GB RAM + 64 GB] and the first sale is on January 23rd on Mi.com and Flipkart at 12 pm.
