However, users have been asking us on regular basis as to when the phone will receive the Android marshmallow update?

The official operating system was unveiled by Google in the month of September in 2015. Motorola and Google devices are the first ones to update and other phones get them eventually if the hardware is robust.

As far as Lenovo A6000 Plus is concerned, there is no problem in terms of hardware. The phone has 2 GB of RAM and the processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. It is a much celebrated Soc which does not heats up and is good in terms of performance.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus Android Marshmallow update is expected after June 2016. There are several things which will get changed in your phone after the update. These things you should know.

The phone will have Multi-window feature support. This feature till now was available only in high end Samsung devices. You will get this in your A6000 Plus handset now. Now On Tap and Doze mode will also be present. A single folder will be able to house more number of applications. 4K display and fingerprint scanner are also supported but Lenovo A6000 Plus lacks in terms of hardware capability, so this will not be of any use to you.

On the other hand, the phone on which the A6000 Plus build up, the A6000 with 1 GB RAM, will not be getting any update. It ain’t a good news for the users but friends major updates in a 1 GB phone is a tough call.
